Job Description:
- Experience with TIG manual welding (Tungsten Inert Gas)
- Experience in welding carbon steel, creep resistant steels and austenitic corrosion resistant steels
- Vison examination certificate
- Knowledge of welding equipment, recognition of main components, knowledge of operating principles
- Technical drawing skills, recognition and interpretation of the most common welding symbols
- Knowledge of shielding gases (neutral gases and mixed gases)
- Knowledge of the effects of welding parameters (current, voltage, gas quantities, travel speed)
- Basic knowledge of welding consumables
- Ability to use measuring instruments (calliper, depth gauge, weld gauge template)
- Basic knowledge of the metal industry
- Welding certification (if not yet expired, but not a requirement)
- Keeping digital and printed manufacturing documentation up to date
- Performing material handling tasks according to instructions (e.g., crane operation, pedestrian-controlled forklift, etc.)
- Preparing workpieces by cleaning and grinding
- Fixturing workpieces for welding operations
- Performing welding operations in accordance with the manufacturing documentation provided (drawings, operation plans, work instructions - VGB, WPS) Based on this documentations setting the specified parameters and using the prescribed filler material.
- At least hight of 160 cm
